Ingredients for 4 pieces:

  • 210g self-raising flour + some extra for your work surface
  • 180g (low-fat) cottage cheese
  • pinch of salt
  • 4 tbsp Pizza Peanut Butter

Preparation time : 15 minutes Waiting time : 15 minutes Difficulty level : easy


The recipe:

  1. Prepare the dough Place all the ingredients for the dough (except the peanut butter) in a bowl and knead until smooth and cohesive. Then cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Divide and shape the dough After resting, divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and set them aside for the next step.
  3. Filling with pizza peanut butter Use your thumbs to press a hole in each dough ball and add a generous spoonful of peanut butter. Then fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges tightly closed so that the peanut butter cannot escape during baking.
  4. Make the flatbreads Lightly flour your work surface and gently flatten each filled ball into a thin flatbread. Make sure the filling is evenly distributed.
  5. Bake the flatbreads Heat a dry frying pan on medium heat (without oil). Bake the flatbreads for about 2 minutes per side, until they are golden brown and nice and crispy on the outside.

Tip: While one flatbread is in the pan, you can already fill and shape the next one. This will save you time and work efficiently!
